Thank you to the members of the community who attended the engagement meeting on 15th January 2024. We got some very positive feedback and were given some useful tips on additional equipment we might need in an emergency. A copy of presentation may be downloaded here.

There are two version of the Plan. There is a version for Community Emergency Response Team members only which contains personal individual information. The public version of the Plan may be downloaded here.

Annex E Household Emergency Plan
A letter seeking information from the community about any skills/equipment they might have and people with any vulnerabilities was delivered to 192 premises in West Down and the surrounding areas. We did not get to everyone so if you want a copy you may download it here.

Many completed forms were dropped off at the Shop and Pub. Thank you to those who have already responded. From now on please email any responses to Andy Odell (Andy.Odell@sky.com). The information is now held in a secure database in accordance with the Parish Council’s GDPR policy.

Thank you to the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) and Volunterrs who attended a table top Exercise which took place in the Parish Hall on Saturday 9th March 2024. As a result a few changes were made to the Emergency Plan. There will be another exercise in May 2025 but this time with a much greater involvement from the community.
Equipment has been purchased to support the Plan and this is held by members of the CERT. In addition, there are dedicated Emergency Plan boxes containing further equipment held in the Parish Hall and Church Hall (Iron Room).
