On a bitterly cold evening - though colder were to come, hardy villages met in the Square to tell the Christmas story, singing carols as they went.

They saw Mary & Joseph turned away from the Crown Inn |

The Wise Men followed star |
 |

to Herod's palace

and then to the stable |
 |
| where they presented the baby with gifts of gold, frankincense & myrrh |

Besides the more traditional services of Carols by Candlelight, Midnight & Christmas morning Holy Communion, Christmas Eve saw a birthday party in the Church - it was Jesus's birthday. |
