WEST DOWN COMMUNITY SHOP LIMITED
ANNUAL MEMBERS MEETING
TO BE HELD AT 7 FOR 7.30 PM ON TUESDAY 25TH JUNE 2019 IN ST. CALIXTUS CHURCH HALL (THE IRON ROOM),
WEST DOWN HILL, ADJOINING THE OLD VICARAGE, WEST DOWN, EX34 8NF
This will be the 7th Annual Members Meeting of West Down Community Shop Limited (WDCSL), which is the registered society that runs the village community shop.
The business to be dealt with at the Meeting will include—
Afterwards there will be an opportunity for a general discussion on matters relating to the shop.
You are a member of WDCSL if you own at least one WDCSL share. West Down residents who are not members are also invited to come to the meeting, but only members will be able to vote. If anyone would like to become a member, please request a prospectus from Peter Knowles, WDCSL’s Secretary. Shares cost £1 each.
Anyone who would like to stand for election to the Management Committee, which oversees the running of the shop, should let Peter Knowles know no later than 17th June. The Committee needs to have between 4 and 12 members.
Finally, it would be very helpful if anyone intending to come to the meeting could, if possible, let Peter know ahead of the meeting so that there is an opportunity to check that there will be adequate seating for those attending. We need a lot of members to attend in order that the meeting can proceed.
Peter can be contacted via the shop or its email address (email@example.com).
Applications to become a shareholder are always welcome. Being a shareholder enables you to vote at Annual Members Meetings and shows your support for this valuable asset of the village. Shares cost only £1 each.
Please apply via the shop.
